The D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E is equipped with advanced security features such as Static MAC, Storm Control, and IGMP Snooping. D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E comes packed with Static MAC which allows users to create a MAC whitelist for specific ports, helping administrators limit network access to authorized devices only. Storm Control monitors broadcast, multicast, or unknown unicast traffic and will start blocking or discarding packets which could flood the network when the defined threshold is exceeded. IGMP Snooping can reduce the load of L3 multicast routers and save bandwidth in network throughput. The D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E has IEEE 802.3x Flow Control function which allows servers to directly connect to the switch for fast, reliable data transfers.

The D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E switch also supports advanced features such as static routes, which allow network administrators to divide the network into VLANs, increasing network efficiency. The D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E supports Voice VLAN and Port VLAN, allows voice and video traffic to be automatically identified and handled differently than regular network traffic, adding a layer of isolation and allowing Quality of Service (QoS) to be applied.

The D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E provides Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, reducing deployment time for IP cameras, VoIP phones, and access points. Dedicated power adapters are no longer required, as the D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E comply with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE standa.

D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E series’ web user interface gives administrators an easy way to manage Layer 2 features, such as VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and link aggregation(static). With powerful security features including IGMP snooping, Static MAC, and Storm Control, these smart managed switches are a versatile solution for deployments that require easy to configure functionality without added complexities.

D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E comes with D-Link’s free Network Assistant (DNA) displays all your connected devices and makes first-time configuration a breeze. The free D-View 7 Network Management System on your D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E comes with a license for 25 nodes and 2 probes and full access to the management tools.

Selected models in the D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E Series support Power over Ethernet on copper access ports. Power over Ethernet greatly simplifies the installation of PoE-enabled devices such as VoIP phones and IP cameras in remote locations with no immediate access to a power outlet. 

D-Link Green technology enables the D-Link DGS-F1100-10PS-E Smart Managed Switches to save power without sacrificing performance. Most of the models in the series utilize a fanless design, for silent and energy-efficient operation. All are IEEE 802.3az-compliant and feature Link Status detection and Time-Based PoE (excluding DGS-1100-05PD and DGS-1100-08P models).
